About the Role

Financial Operations Expertise

We seek an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee and manage the financial activities of our organization.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, financial analysis, and decision-making to ensure the company's financial health and long-term growth.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize costs.
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Key Deliverables:
  • Establish key performance indicators and collaborate with leaders to establish benchmarks for assisting in pricing, contract structuring, and margin analysis for large deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives.
  • Accounting and Compliance:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Spearhead month end, quarter end and year end activities including accruals & monthly analysis on the actuals vs provisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the technology services industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho or similar).
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.
  • Ability to interpret data, generate and communicate insights.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
