About the Position:

We seek a seasoned Data Governance Specialist to spearhead our enterprise-level data governance initiatives. This role demands in-depth expertise in data management, including configuration, integration, and workflow development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust data governance frameworks, ensuring high-quality data, and fostering a culture of data stewardship across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and administration of a leading data intelligence platform.\
  • Design and configure a comprehensive operating model, encompassing domains, assets, workflows, and roles.\
  • Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business users to define and enforce data governance policies.\
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management.\
  • Provide training and support to business and technical users on platform usage and best practices.\
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate within the organization, promoting data governance maturity.\
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external data governance standards.\
  • Possess at least 10 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.\
  • Have ~5+ years of hands-on experience with the platform, including configuration, workflow development, and integration.\
  • Hold a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.\
  • Be proficient in APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript).\
  • Have experience with data cataloging, lineage, and business glossary in the platform.\
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica, or similar is a plus.\
  • Experience in enterprise-level deployments of the platform is highly desirable.\
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data architecture or data engineering is a bonus.\
