Cloud Accounting Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Accounting Expert to join our team as a Lease Compliance Specialist at Insight Global.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and configuring Oracle Lease Accounting, including requirement gathering, system configuration, and testing. They will work closely with IT teams to integrate Lease Accounting with other Oracle cloud modules, ensuring seamless functionality.
This role involves monitoring and managing amortization of operating and finance leases in compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16. The ideal candidate will set up and maintain system options, payment templates, discount rate indexes, and approval rules to enable leasing capabilities as per business requirements.
Additionally, they will design solutions to integrate Oracle Lease Accounting with external boundary systems and facilities tools. This includes identifying and recommending process improvements to ensure accurate lease accounting from Lessee, Lessor, and sublease perspectives.
The successful candidate will also work with cross-functional teams to streamline new lease contract creation, activation, and conversion processes. They will develop and implement best practices for order lease accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and Configuration: Implement Oracle Lease Accounting, including requirement gathering, system configuration, and testing.
- Process Optimization: Identify and recommend process improvements to ensure accurate lease accounting.
- Reporting and Analytics: Develop and generate reports related to lease accounting in compliance with GAAP.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting and its integration with other Oracle Fusion modules.
- Proven project management skills and experience in leading complex IT projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per annum
