Job Opportunity

This is a unique chance to become part of an esteemed team as a Legal Professional. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide expert guidance and support in various legal matters, ensuring seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management

    • Effective contract drafting, review, negotiation, and administration for Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), lease agreements, IT/software licensing contracts, and employment-related agreements.

    • Efficiently manage ongoing litigation, arbitration, and disputes by collaborating with external legal counsel and maintaining case status reports.

    • Provide expert advisory services on labour law compliance and employee-related legal issues, assisting HR in preparing employee agreements, policy updates, and statutory compliance.

    • Maintain accurate statutory registers, records, and filings, prepare notices, agendas, minutes, and resolutions for Board/Committee/General Meetings, and monitor changes in laws/regulations.

    • Conduct thorough legal research on corporate, commercial, and labour laws, providing practical solutions and advisory to business teams on day-to-day legal issues.

  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution

    • Manage and resolve conflicts efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Corporate Governance Support

    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records, facilitating informed decision-making.

  • Legislative Compliance & Risk Assessment

    • Monitor legislative changes, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding the company's interests.

  • Advisory Services

    • Deliver expert advice on complex legal matters, empowering business teams to make informed decisions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized institution
  • Chartered Secretary (CS) qualification or relevant experience
  • Desirable: Additional qualifications such as LLM or specialisation in corporate/commercial law
