Systematic Trader Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Trading Strategy Developer to join our team. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing trading strategies for equities and derivatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in systematic/algorithmic trading with verifiable results, as well as expertise in quantitative finance principles, statistical modeling, and risk management.

You will work closely with our technology team to enhance and maintain our trading infrastructure and collaborate with other teams to implement position sizing methodologies and risk management strategies.

As a Trading Strategy Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of trading strategies, performance, and results, and ensuring that all trading activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Develop and Optimize Trading Strategies: Create and refine systematic trading algorithms for equities and derivatives, leveraging your knowledge of market microstructure, execution algorithms, and latency optimization.
• Conduct Thorough Analysis: Perform back testing and statistical analysis of trading models to ensure accuracy and efficiency, and make data-driven decisions to inform trading strategies.
• Monitor Performance and Risk: Track real-time trading performance and risk metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize trading strategies accordingly.
• Implement Risk Management Protocols: Develop and implement position sizing methodologies and risk management strategies to minimize losses and maximize returns.
• Collaborate with Technology Team: Work closely with the technology team to enhance and maintain trading infrastructure, including low-latency execution and state-of-the-art trading tools.
• Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of trading strategies, performance, and results, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on trading activities and outcomes.

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a successful history in systematic/algorithmic trading with verifiable results, including evidence of consistently high returns and robust risk management.
• Quantitative Finance Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of statistical modeling, risk management, and quantitative finance principles, including financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
• Market Microstructure Knowledge: Have experience with market microstructure, execution algorithms, and latency optimization, and be able to leverage this expertise to develop and optimize trading strategies.
• Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, and possess relevant professional certifications or training.
• Industry Experience: Preferably possess professional experience at hedge funds, prop trading firms, or investment banks, and be familiar with industry standards and best practices.
