Job Summary

Senior Process Development Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Development Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our process development group, you will be responsible for developing non-infringing upstream processes for biosimilar development using CHO and other mammalian cell lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a robust and efficient upstream process for biosimilar development in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Plan and execute experiments for process development, including upstream activities at shake flask and bioreactor stages.
  • Design and conduct process characterization for upstream development, ensuring the quality and consistency of biotherapeutic proteins.
  • Lead a team of scientists and coordinate with cell culture and analytical groups to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee work performance at production plants or manufacturing units, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • Well-versed in the latest developments in upstream-related instruments, cell culture, and bioreactor processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, statistical software, and analytical tools, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
