Product Owner - IT Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team and take ownership of our IT services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis:
  • Investigate operational needs, problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.
  • Define acceptance criteria for these recommendations.
  • Requirements Definition and Management:
  • Assist in the definition and management of requirements.
  • Use standard techniques to elicit, specify, and document requirements for simple subject areas with clearly-defined boundaries.
  • Assist in the creation of a requirements baseline and investigate and apply authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
  • Release and Deployment:
  • Assess and analyze release components.
  • Investigate improvements of UAT processes, tools, and methods.
  • Ensure release processes and procedures are maintained.
  • Portfolio, Programme, and Project Support:
  • Use recommended portfolio, programme, and project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Set up project files, compile and distribute reports.
  • Provide administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams, and quality review meetings.
  • Provide guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Maintain programme and project files from supplied actual and forecast data.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Ensure problems and issues are dealt with effectively.
  • Collect lessons learned and disseminate relevant information.
  • Collect and use feedback from customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • At least 6 years of experience in IT and product ownership.
  • Technical expertise with platforms, technologies, and tools such as ServiceNow and Cisco.
