Job Title: Group Operations Manager

">Role Overview

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of other colleagues and contributing to the overall planning and workflow of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise, plan, control, and monitor workflow, coordinating resources to ensure that the daily workload is consistently completed in line with agreed service standards.
  • Monitor the performance of the team, recommending and implementing changes to improve service quality and process efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of individual team members, ensuring cross-training and sufficient knowledge and resource to cover absences.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to ensure effective communication and aligned operations.
  • Analyse trends in problem occurrence and workflow, investigate further when appropriate, and implement changes or coordinate support from other parties to resolve matters and minimize the risk of re-occurrences.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Knowledge of capital markets, corporate actions, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in bank reconciliation and general ledger management.
  • Able to present and explain financial data effectively.
Desired Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including macros and database administration.
  • Prior experience in leadership roles.
