Lead EV Bus Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our end-to-end production process of bus body structures. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement across the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning & Execution of Bus structures.
  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
  • Monitor KPIs such as JPH (Jobs Per Hour), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and downtime.
  • Quality Assurance, Ensure adherence to dimensional accuracy, fit & finish, and welding standards.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve line-level quality issues.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects. Process Improvement
  • Lead Kaizen, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Reduce non-value-added activities and improve line balancing.
  • Implement automation and ergonomic improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
  • 15-20 years of experience in automotive production
  • Domain Expertise: Bus/Coach Body Building, BIW, Assembly, EV
  • Strong understanding of bus body structure design and manufacturing
  • Leadership and team management, Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Cost control and budgeting, ERP/MRP systems proficiency
  • Safety and compliance awareness, Performance Metrics
