Job Title: Cell Culture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Cell Culture Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in one of the following areas:

  1. Omics technologies – Metabolomics, Metabolic Flux Analysis
  2. Bioprocess modeling – Metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactors or cells
  3. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to simulate bioreactor mixing

The successful candidate will have a recent PhD in a relevant field and will be responsible for supporting upstream process development, process scale up, and process characterization for monoclonal antibody (mAb) manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support upstream process development, process scale up, and process characterization for mAb manufacturing.
  • Develop and establish scalable and robust processes to meet desired product yield and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, manufacturing, quality control, and quality assurance for technical discussions related to process development, technology transfer, and process improvement.
  • Participate in technology transfer activities, coordinate with program management, and cross-functional teams to deliver on program timelines.

The candidate is expected to maintain awareness of the latest advancements in science and technology, bioprocessing, and statistical knowledge in applying Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiments (DOE) concepts in upstream development.

Requirements:
  1. Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  2. Expertise in one of the following areas: Omics technologies, Bioprocess modeling, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
  3. Strong understanding of cell culture principles, bioreactor design, and process optimization.
