Treasury Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for managing the company's cash flow, optimizing fund utilization, and ensuring timely interest and principal repayments.

  • Key responsibilities include managing daily cash flow across various project Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), facilitating issuance of Capex Letters of Credit (LCs), and managing Buyer's Credit / Supplier's Credit arrangements.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing surplus funds by investing in short-term debt mutual funds and fixed deposits, ensuring proper records of advance and Performance Bank Guarantees received from Vendors/ issued to third parties.
  • Additional tasks include management of Inter Corporate Deposit issuance, Limit monitoring, and documentation, as well as ensuring treasury accounting entries on a daily basis.
  • The Treasury Operations Specialist will also lead Key Customer Due Diligence (KYC) compliance for all bank accounts and drive digital initiatives such as Hand-to-Hand (H2H) transactions, net banking, and automation of transactions.
  • Liaising with banks on operational matters and maintaining strong working relationships is a significant aspect of this role.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for timely submission of Treasury-related details, audit coordination, and response to audit queries.
  • Preparation of monthly Treasury Management Information System (MIS) reports, including reports on loans, interest payments, short-term investments, and hedging exposures is an important task.
  • Supporting new project financing activities and Loan documentation requires collaboration with internal teams (Accounts, Projects, Procurement) for efficient treasury operations.
