We are seeking a talented Climate Data Modelling Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing practical, industry-ready climate risk models.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine models for different types of extreme climate events using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Analyse hydrological and hydraulic processes using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and QGIS.
  • Work with Python (including geospatial, computing, AI/ML, and data analysis libraries) to automate workflows and analyse extreme climate event risk.
  • Leverage AI/ML toolkits and pipelines to integrate high-resolution datasets into extreme climate event models to generate actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in extreme climate event modelling, with prior experience developing extreme climate event models using the mentioned tools.
  • Proficiency in Python (including NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, GeoPandas, Rasterio, GDAL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, QGIS, and other extreme climate event/geospatial modelling tools.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results at pace.
  • A go-getter attitude with a hunger to learn and solve real-world climate challenges.
