Hydrology and Climate Modelling Analyst

A job opening for a Hydrology and Climate Modelling Analyst is available in our Hyderabad office. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in extreme climate event modelling, using tools like HEC-HMS and ArcGIS.

This role requires proficiency in Python, specifically libraries like NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, GeoPandas, Rasterio, GDAL, etc. Familiarity with geospatial tools such as QGIS and other extreme climate event/geospatial modelling tools is also essential.

Job Description:

Develop and refine models for different types of extreme climate events using industry-standard software. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver results at pace. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology and climate science, with experience in building extreme climate event models.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in extreme climate event modelling, using tools like HEC-HMS and ArcGIS.
  • Proficiency in Python, specifically libraries like NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, GeoPandas, Rasterio, GDAL, etc.
  • Familiarity with geospatial tools such as QGIS and other extreme climate event/geospatial modelling tools.
  • Strong background in hydrology and climate science.
