Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical design engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex mechanical systems and equipment.

Your primary duties will include collaborating with customers and marketing teams to determine design requirements, planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs, performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine designs, overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing, documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics, liaising with designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence, and preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional time management and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills. You should also be proficient in engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Rhino, and have sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a mechanical design engineer
  • Proficiency in engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Rhino
  • Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
