Pharmacy Supply Chain Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the procurement and inventory management of medicines, surgical consumables, and pharmaceutical supplies for a hospital.
To achieve this goal, the Pharmacy Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:
- Strategically identifying, evaluating, and finalizing vendors for pharmaceutical products and consumables.
- Negotiating pricing, credit terms, and supply agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers and distributors.
- Ensuring uninterrupted supply of drugs, including critical and life-saving medicines.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong background in pharmaceutical purchase, with at least 7+ years of experience in a hospital setting (multispecialty preferred).
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, regulatory norms, and supply chain best practices.
- Proven skills in vendor negotiation, procurement systems, and cost management.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include:
- Cost savings achieved through procurement strategies.
- Vendor performance and timely supply rate.
- Stock-out rate and inventory turnover ratio.
- Compliance audit scores.
- Stakeholder satisfaction (clinicians, pharmacy, finance).
