Breakwater Construction Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Breakwater Construction Specialist to join our team in Trivandrum, Kerala.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and 10+ years of experience in the design, construction, and management of port and marine infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, planning, and construction of breakwater systems, overseeing port expansion projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design & Construction of Breakwater Systems: Lead the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure protection of port infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Oversee port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coastal & Marine Engineering: Apply expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in the Kerala region or on Indian port development projects.
