Job Description:

As a Senior Counselling Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the journeys of master's, PhD, and other postgraduate applicants—from the first counselling session to program admissions.

Key Responsibilities include serving as the main point of contact for students and parents, providing personalized guidance on academics, extracurriculars, and application milestones.

You'll design and oversee structured mentorship schedules with external mentors while ensuring students receive consistent support.

Conduct one-on-one profile evaluations, advising on academics, extracurriculars, summer schools, internships, and overall profile building.

Coach students through standardized test preparation (SAT/ACT, APs, IELTS/TOEFL, etc.) and guide them on subject or curriculum equivalencies (IB, A-Levels, CBSE, ISC, etc.).

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and refining application essays, personal statements, activity lists, résumés, and recommendation letters.

Conduct mock interviews aligned with admissions standards of universities in the U.S., U.K., and Canada.

Coordinate weekly student-mentor sessions via Zoom/Google Meet and maintain an updated database of student progress.

Prepare detailed progress notes, ensuring applications stay on track with internal and university deadlines.

Research relevant undergraduate scholarships, financial aid, and merit-based opportunities, and assist students with applications (CSS Profile, FAFSA, UCAS bursaries, etc.).

Help students and families evaluate admission offers by clarifying financial implications, career outcomes, and long-term pathways.
