Job Title: ROR Developer

We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails and VueJS developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building complex applications, including back-end micro-services, command line utilities, and data processing scripts.

This role involves designing and developing applications, coordinating with the team, and ensuring high-quality products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing new modules and APIs for our product
  • Planning, building, and launching features for our products
  • Writing unit, functional, and integration tests
  • Estimating development tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborating with engineering, QA, and product design team members
  • Scaled application as user base grows
Mandatory Skills Experience:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Ability to work in a Linux environment
  • A solid understanding of Ruby
  • 5+ years of web application engineering experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Design, Caching
  • 1+ years of experience with a front-end framework (GIT)
  • Solid 2+ years of web dev experience building web UI/UX interactions
  • 5+ years of experience improving performance of Ruby on Rails applications with Memcached background job processing frameworks (Sidekiq, Resque etc.)
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications using AWS Infrastructure using Capistrano automated deployment
Education Qualification Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent).
