The role of a Junior Accountant involves maintaining daily accounting entries in a Tally/ERP system, verifying accuracy and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
  • Prepare vouchers, invoices, and bills with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable management by coordinating with vendors and clients.
  • Handle petty cash and daily bank reconciliation to ensure financial integrity.
  • Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filing preparation to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain proper records of expenses and income for accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants to prepare monthly reports that provide insightful financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities

This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting and a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with knowledge of MS Excel and Tally/ERP software.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
