Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting and be proficient in AutoCAD and 3D software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate drawings, calculating weights, and detailing engineering work.

They will also be responsible for standardizing drawings and documents.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about mechanical drafting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating accurate drawings from basic information
  • Calculating weights based on drawings provided
  • Detailing engineering work for structures, piping, mechanical, foundation, and refractory items
  • Standardizing drawings and documents
Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • SSC/HSC
  • NCVT (National Council Vocational Training) in Drafting - Mechanical Stream
  • Diploma in Mechanical

Computer Skills:

  • AutoCAD
  • 3D Software (Autodesk Inventor, Auto Plant 3D)
  • MS Office

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in drafting
  • Good knowledge of geometrical tolerances
  • Experience in furnace and strip-processing industries is an added advantage
