IT Project Manager

This role oversees the project management office, ensuring successful execution of all IT projects. It involves enforcing project frameworks and overseeing portfolio governance.

  • Responsible for processes including planning, portfolio governance, methodology framework, and resource capacity management.
  • Ensure project standards and practices are implemented across the project portfolio.
  • Supervise and mentor project team members, including performance reviews, career growth, and training.
  • Create and maintain staffing plans for internal and external resources.
  • Analyse project proposals to determine timelines, funding, and required processes.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project teams through all project phases.
  • Implement effective communication, including steering committee meetings and status reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in project management of complex IT projects.
  • Deep understanding of agile frameworks.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Prior team leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
