Senior Cloud Infrastructure Operations Engineer

As a senior cloud infrastructure operations engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our cloud platforms, including Azure. This position requires an individual with expert-level support skills for cloud infrastructure, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and experience working with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud governance, best practices, and policies, as well as relevant certifications such as AZ-104. Additionally, this person should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing automated solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to develop and enhance cloud-based systems
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to build their skills and expertise
  • Providing expert-level support for cloud infrastructure, including troubleshooting and incident management

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations, with a strong background in Azure
  • Deep understanding of cloud governance, best practices, and policies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Relevant certifications, such as AZ-104
