**Job Title:** Powertrain Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Powertrain Design Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing and developing powertrains for electric vehicles, with a focus on high-voltage battery packs, cells, and modules.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop powertrains for electric vehicles, including high-voltage battery packs, cells, and modules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design changes are implemented according to project timelines
  • Conduct stack-up analysis on designed components to ensure reliability and performance
  • Develop harness/busbar/cell packaging and drive resolution prior to validation builds
  • Create test cases, design rules, and requirements as needed
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of experience in powertrain design and development
  • Hands-on experience with designing and developing EDS HV harnesses and busbars, BMS
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Good knowledge of tooling feasibility, raw materials, and their sources
  • Knowledge of EDU, battery modules, busbar, DCDC converters, and motors is an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in electrical wiring harness, busbar, fuse, connectors, relays, routing, and packaging in CATIA V5/V6
  • Demonstrable experience of system release responsibility from concept to manufacture
  • Working knowledge of project delivery processes
