Electrical Systems Engineer Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems engineering, with expertise in power electronics and vehicle systems integration. Our team is looking for an experienced professional to lead the development of high-voltage battery systems, onboard chargers, and other electrical components.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement system architectures and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Oversee simulation, modeling, and analysis of power electronics circuits using tools like PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, or LTspice.
  • Guide PCB layout for high-power designs ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in HV systems engineering, battery management system design, and leadership positions.
  • Expertise in agile methods and toolsets such as JIRA, SCRUM, KANBAN, etc.
  • Familiarity with vehicle system interfaces and integration for distributed features onboard (offboard advantage).
  • Extensive experience in HV product development for EV, system engineering, and knowledge of product development life cycle and software development life cycle.
  • Good engineering knowledge of vehicle subsystems such as PWT, chassis, body, security, infotainment, diagnostics, electrical systems ECUs, design, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Strong understanding of high-voltage systems, safety protocols, and thermal management.
  • Hands-on experience in CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, DET) is a strong advantage.
