Job Overview:

The role of a Corporate Actions Specialist is crucial in managing activities such as corporate actions and safekeeping.

This involves processing various events, including IPOs, FPOs, buy-backs, takeovers, rights issues, conversions, and mergers.

  • Manage Corporate Events: Manage the announcement, entitlement, and processing of voluntary corporate events like IPOs, FPOs, buy-backs, takeovers, rights issues, conversions, and mergers.
  • Track Securities: Keep track of withdrawals and inward physical securities from custody, sent outside for collection of interest, demat, name change, etc.
  • Monitor Procedures: Monitor and update procedures and policies for the corporate action and safe keeping section.
  • Build Relationships: Build and maintain good relations with banks, companies, exchanges, and data providers for smooth functioning of activities.
  • Customer Service: Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer queries, in accordance with customer service norms, and ensure low TAT for all transactions as per service quality standards.
  • MIS Reports: Generate and disseminate timely management information system (MIS) reports for managerial decision-making purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in securities services, preferably in the Indian market, and be familiar with relevant regulations and guidelines.
