Global Primary Years Programme Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to spearhead our Primary Years Programme, embodying the IB framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and review the PYP curriculum in accordance with IB guidelines.
  • Foster effective teaching practices, encouraging inquiry and reflection among staff.
  • Provide guidance and support for teachers in designing transdisciplinary units and student-centered learning experiences.
  • Organize professional development workshops and training sessions for faculty members.
  • Nurture relationships with parents and the school community, promoting understanding of the PYP.
  • Coordinate student assessments and maintain records as per IB requirements.
  • Stay updated on IB developments and ensure the school adheres to IB standards.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including teachers, parents and the IB organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification.
  • At least 10 years of experience in teaching and a deep understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
