Lead Software Engineers to Improve Build-Test Pipelines

Pure Storage is looking for a talented Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers in improving build-test pipelines and enabling faster feature delivery.

  • Foster collaboration across software teams to enhance developer efficiency.
  • Develop and scale automated test infrastructure for all-flash storage solutions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of software engineers in developing and scaling automated test infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with global teams to optimize automation strategies.
  • Mentoring and developing engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
  • Defining and leveraging key metrics to refine automation processes.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of technical management experience, leading software engineers while remaining hands-on with software development and troubleshooting.
  • 10+ years of software development experience in Python, Golang, or similar languages, with expertise in microservices, REST APIs, and developer tooling.
  • Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Deep understanding of automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable build-test automation.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and managing complex automation systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills in scaling test infrastructure and improving pipeline performance.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
