Department Overview

The Document Team Lead will be part of the Design team, working closely with the operations team to enhance the output of documents and presentations for clients. The primary goal of this department is to offer graphic and document support to clients for their marketing and internal deck designs.

Our department comprises two main verticals: Graphic Design and Document Design, each with distinct roles and responsibilities. Both teams contribute to creating brand collaterals, marketing materials, templates, presentations, and content marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the execution team of Document Analysts and Specialists
  • Provide guidelines on complex projects and overall project execution
  • Seamlessly communicate with the Financial Services and Document teams
  • Manage daily staffing and conflicts within the team
  • Communicate complex briefs and concepts to the Document team and set and manage expectations around work allocation
  • Support team members in managing their time effectively to meet demanding business requirements
  • Prepare drafts and present ideas to manage and deliver projects as per client deadlines
  • Participate in calls with the Financial Services teams and clients
  • Maximize quality for all project deliverables and maintain an average project feedback score of 4+
Operational Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and mentoring to the team to align them with departmental goals and ensure they have a robust performance management structure in place
  • E nsure final documents and layouts are visually appealing as per client branding
  • Perform quality control checks at all stages
  • Ensure the team meets its monthly and annual objectives
  • Ensure that new techniques and processes provide the best quality of designs and update training material based on new technology and business requirements

Technical Skills Required
  • Expert level in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign would be a plus
Experience

4-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the financial services industry, including 2-3 years of people management role

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
