Expert Exterior and Interior Trim Component Cost Estimator

As a seasoned cost estimation professional with 5-12 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing cost strategies and estimates for exterior and interior trim components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to submission dates and deadlines.
- Develop Should Be Cost (SBC) and Zero Based Cost estimates for new projects, including exterior and interior trim components, cockpit/instrument panel assemblies, and soft trims NVH acoustic components.
- Apply expertise in part costing techniques and cost management within the chemical commodity sector.
- Manage data related to raw materials, processes, markups, and costs using various tools and software.
- Utilize knowledge of injection molding, plastic painting, plastic welding processes, PU molding, vacuum forming, blow molding, thermoforming, and thermosetting to inform cost estimation.
- Analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and develop creative solutions to optimize cost competitiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate business case costs, prepare cost matrices, and monitor project costs from business case to launch.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in costing software, such as TcPCM.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings, bills of materials, and process assumptions.
- Strong networking and collaboration skills.
