Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a Stress Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive stress analysis of aircraft structures using classical methods, advanced computational tools, and finite element modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Critical Loads Extraction

You will extract critical loads, stresses, material properties, and geometric data from engineering drawings and specifications.

Design Standards Compliance

You will apply relevant design standards and codes to determine static design values.

Finite Element Modeling

You will develop and refine complex Finite Element Models (FEMs) for structural analysis.

Sizing and Optimization

You will conduct detailed sizing and optimization of primary and secondary structures to meet strict safety requirements.

Joint Analysis

You will perform thorough joint analysis and calculate Reserve Factors (RF) for various failure modes.

Mitigation Strategies

You will implement mitigation strategies to address low RF values using analytical or numerical methods.

Certification Reports

You will prepare rigorous stress certification reports, including ACD4 and SSR documentation.

Collaboration

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Experience

5-7 Years of experience in stress analysis and structural engineering.

Skills

Proficiency in finite element modeling software and scripting languages.

Knowledge

Strong understanding of aerospace materials and their properties.
