Job Opportunity:

Piping Stress Engineers are in high demand for the design, analysis, and implementation of piping systems in various industrial settings. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in pipe stress analysis and support design.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive stress analysis using industry-standard software such as Caesar II and PIPENET to ensure safe and efficient pipe design.
  • Design and install reliable pipe supports that can withstand various loads and conditions.
  • Conduct thorough technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors to obtain accurate pipe properties and ensure stress analysis conforms to vendor-supplied parameters.
  • Prepare job execution plans, work instructions, and standard drawings based on project requirements.
  • Estimate man-hours for projects and proposals, and allocate specific jobs to assigned engineers.
  • Monitor project schedule, quality, and budgeted man-hours, and interact with clients, PMCs, and vendors to resolve key issues.
  • Review vendor data, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure conformity to project requirements.
  • Initiate cost-saving solutions and implement them in consultation with other disciplines and obtain client/PMMC approval.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in piping stress analysis and pipe support design.
  • In-depth knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for pipe stress analysis (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692).
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Caesar II and PIPENET.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
