Senior Engineer - Building Management Systems

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to manage the end-to-end execution and operation of Building Management Systems (IBMS) and Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) services in large-scale infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will oversee the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of chiller plants, HVAC systems, and utility systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project execution and coordination
  • Managing MEP works related to HVAC, chilled water plants, utility systems, and IBMS integration
  • Overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of central chiller plants, AHUs, cooling towers, pumps, valves, piping, and controls
  • Integrating IBMS platforms with chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical panels, and safety systems
  • Ensuring project milestones are met as per schedule
  • Coordinating with vendors, OEMs, consultants, and internal teams
Technical and Design Review:
  • Reviewing MEP and IBMS design drawings, BOQ, equipment specifications, and shop drawings
  • Validating system architecture for BMS, HVAC, Chiller Plant Manager (CPM), SCADA/DCS, and utility monitoring systems
  • Ensuring adherence to ASHRAE, ISHRAE, IS codes, NBC, and international standards
Quality and Safety Management:
  • Implementing QA/QC checks for equipment installation, piping, cabling, and control systems
  • Enforcing HSE practices during site execution in compliance with safety standards
  • Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for critical systems
Operations and Handover:
  • Conducting performance testing of chiller plants and IBMS dashboards
  • Optimizing plant operation through automation, control strategies, and energy efficiency
  • Preparing O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and training sessions for facility teams
  • Supporting project handover to facility management teams with complete documentation
