Job Description

The successful candidate will operate and maintain machinery in a nutraceutical manufacturing environment, adhering to established standard operating procedures.

This role requires the ability to set up, calibrate, and adjust machines for accurate production, perform routine equipment checks to prevent downtime, and ensure smooth operations.

The individual must maintain product quality standards during machine operations, aligning with Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines.

Record keeping skills are essential for accurately documenting machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs.

Ensuring material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are carried out as per requirements is also crucial.

Prompt reporting and escalation of equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or abnormalities are necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GHP, HACCP, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to conduct and document in-process checks accurately.
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, QA, and maintenance teams.
