Manufacturing Solutions Developer

Our goal is to design smart, affordable AI + sensor systems that work effectively on the shop floor - from measuring steel bars flying out of a rolling mill, to spotting defects in plastic pipes, to preventing theft in dispatch yards.

Our team excels at figuring things out and making ideas work in the real world. As a Manufacturing Solutions Developer, you will be working on prototyping with laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras. You will support hardware selection, design mounts and enclosures that survive heat, vibration, and factory grit, and support integration with DAQ tools, PLCs, and basic OpenCV scripts.

  • You will help with pilot deployments across customer sites in India and troubleshoot and iterate quickly when challenges pop up.
  • What success looks like in this role includes being able to walk into a messy factory setup, design a mount, wire up a sensor, and get usable data out of it.
  • You will find a fix fast and keep the pilot moving when things break, and customers will see our systems working in their environments because of your hands-on contribution.

As a problem-solver first, you care about what works, not just what looks good on paper. What we're looking for in a candidate includes 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision, knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems, and ability to design practical mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures).

  • Comfortable with Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections, willing to get hands dirty in high-heat/industrial environments, based in India, with flexibility to travel for deployments.
  • Available ~20 hrs/week (flexible schedule), optionality for full time for the right candidate.
