Job Overview:

  • We seek an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong commitment to quality standards.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, methodical and has the experience necessary to take our deliverables to the next level in terms of accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, execute and perform inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing deliverables to confirm quality conformance to specifications.
  2. Suggest solutions to identified deliverable problems.
  3. Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting and reporting quality levels to meet goals/KPIs.
  4. Analyze and investigate reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with our guidelines and customer requirements.
  5. Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
  6. Collaborate with production team to achieve better results.
  7. Develop or update inspection procedures to ensure proper documentation and tracking of issues.
  8. Monitor risk-management procedures and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management.
  9. Interpret, build upon and comply with company quality assurance standards.
  10. Collect quality data by maintaining issues and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems.
  11. Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
  12. Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
  13. Oversee continuous improvement projects to develop new standards for production and design.
  14. Pursue continuing learning/exploration on new solutions, technology and skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ year experience in the promotions content/e-learning/publishing house content domain or any other related domain
  • Experience in print media is a plus
  • Superb computer competence including MS Office
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods and tools
  • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skill
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  • Professional certification in Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of Content Quality Assurance Automation
