Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our elite team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases for digital banking applications.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong expertise in functional, API, and automation testing within digital banking services. You will be expected to participate in shift-left testing by reviewing requirements, collaborating in design discussions, and identifying potential defects early in the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing automated test cases using Selenium or Playwright for UI testing and Postman / REST Assured for API testing
  • Participating in shift-left testing by reviewing requirements, collaborating in design discussions, and identifying potential defects early in the lifecycle
  • Actively learning and adopting new testing tools and techniques to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong expertise in functional, API, and automation testing within digital banking services
  • Solid understanding of digital banking workflows including Payments, Cards, KYC, Customer Onboarding, Loans, and Internet/Mobile Banking channels
  • Hands-on experience in test automation development using Selenium and Playwright for UI testing and Postman / REST Assured for API testing
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-powered testing tools and concepts such as AI-driven test case generation
  • Experience in shift-left testing practices working closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC
  • Holds an ISTQB Test certification
