This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive the success of our organization. As Associate Director, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our financial operations and ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional results.

Your primary focus will be on Record-to-Report (R2R) accounting processes, where you will utilize your expertise to streamline and improve our financial reporting systems. Additionally, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to provide insights and guidance, fostering strong partnerships and open communication throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver exceptional results. You will have a proven track record of managing senior stakeholders, leading transitions and transformations, and driving digital finance initiatives. Your experience in accounting leadership roles will serve as a valuable asset in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage ad-hoc projects initiated by Controllership leadership.
  2. Assist with drafting desktop procedures and training as part of transition efforts.
  3. Serve as an inspirational leader who motivates and engages through clear articulation of R2R process-related priorities.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with BMS Finance senior leadership.
  5. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and retaining strong local team members.
  6. Identify and manage training and upskilling of local team members.
  7. Hold self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy.
  8. Articulate material risks and opportunities and take an active role in designing and executing response or contingency plans.
