Job Title: Component Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Component Development Manager to lead our component development team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and industrialize stamping components and associated tools, ensuring high-quality and efficiency in production.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to define components and work with purchasing to select suppliers for stamping parts and tools.
  • Prepare tool specifications, design for manufacturability (DFM), and strip layout.
  • Review tool designs for capability in delivering robust parts and critical to quality (CTQs) along with process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA).
  • Select, validate, introduce, and standardize new technologies and processes locally in the stamping components domain.
  • Estimate tool and part costing and develop plans for manufacturing.
  • Establish stamping process parameters and obtain plant acceptance for tools and processes.
  • Pursue continuous improvement actions for tool and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Tool and Die Making or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in stamping tooling development and molding process development.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
