Business Analyst Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Analyst cum Project Coordinator to act as a crucial link between business needs and project execution within our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope.

You will play a key part in optimizing processes and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements through various techniques, including interviews, workshops, surveys, and workflow analysis.
  2. Collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, and design teams to ensure a clear understanding of business needs and alignment of project goals.
  3. Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including wireframes, process flows, user stories, and functional specifications.
  4. Manage project timelines, identify and track project dependencies, and proactively mitigate potential - risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), meticulously document test findings, and provide actionable recommendations for process and system improvements.
  6. Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project status, issues, and resolutions.
  7. Support the implementation of new processes and systems, including developing training materials and providing end-user support.
  8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance business processes, methodologies, and tools.
  9. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator in a product-based company.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and project management principles.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements effectively.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, and documentation tools like Confluence or similar.
