Senior Business Analyst Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill a Senior Business Analyst position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and Document Requirements: Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, including clients, users, and internal teams. This includes analyzing existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Functional Requirements Definition: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Feasibility Studies and Impact Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses to assess potential benefits, risks, and costs associated with proposed solutions.
  • Business Process Modeling: Create detailed business process models, use cases, and user stories to communicate requirements to development teams.
  • Workshops and Meetings: Facilitate and lead workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit requirements and gather feedback.
  • Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and existing software functionalities.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards.
  • Junior Business Analyst Support: Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts, assisting in their professional development and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Business Analyst Experience: Proven 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst role in the IT software industry.
  • Software Development Methodologies: Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Business Requirements Documentation: Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Business Process Modeling Techniques: Experience with business process modeling techniques and tools.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Time Management: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
