Job Description:">

We are seeking a seasoned SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, secure, and optimize our SQL Server environments, both on-premises and in the Azure cloud. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in database administration, performance tuning, and security configurations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing Azure SQL Subscription services, ensuring high availability and cost-efficiency. They will also perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring, as well as configure and maintain disaster recovery, backups, and high availability solutions.

Additionally, the DBA will implement and monitor security policies, access controls, and compliance standards, plan and execute database migrations from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL, and work with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD and database lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues, deep knowledge of T-SQL, backup/recovery, replication, indexing, and security configurations, and proven experience with migration projects from on-premises SQL Server to Azure.

The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with Azure services like Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Automation, understanding of licensing and cost management for Azure SQL resources, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
