Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer

At AppSierra Solutions Pvt Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust and scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and external services.
  • Integrate databases (SQL and NoSQL) with Node.js applications and ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Develop middleware components to handle authentication, authorization, logging, and other cross-cutting concerns.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve application performance.
  • Implement security best practices to protect against common web application security threats.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation, code comments, and architectural diagrams.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Node.js development and JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
  • Experience with popular Node.js frameworks and libraries such as Express.js, Koa.js, etc.
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture in Node.js.
  • Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
