Job Description

As a seasoned backend expert, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining innovative software solutions that drive our broadcast technologies forward.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Django and Python.
  • Implement modular and scalable applications that ensure effortless maintainability.
  • Collaborate with designers to seamlessly integrate applications with graphics.
  • Develop and optimize database schemas and queries for optimal performance.
  • Deploy and maintain applications on cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
  • Participate in code reviews and implement best practices.
  • Write clean, well-documented code that sets the standard for excellence.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and innovate solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • 3-4 years of experience in full stack development with a strong backend focus.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
  • Experience with frontend technologies, particularly Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with:

  • PySide6 for desktop application development.
  • Background in broadcast technology or media industry.
  • Experience with real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
