Backend Developer Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team.

This role offers the chance to deepen backend development skills while gaining exposure to product management.

As a Backend Developer, you'll collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to build integrations, debug live issues, read API documentation, and contribute to system infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write clean, efficient Java code and build scalable backend components.
  • Read and understand external API documentation to facilitate new integrations.
  • Debug production issues by analyzing logs and participating in on-call rotations.
  • Test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Participate in on-call debugging sessions with customers to resolve real-time issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into technical tasks.
  • Take part in technical analysis, design discussions, and roadmap planning.
  • Build and maintain robust APIs to support integrations.
  • Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of backend development experience in Java.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of product thinking or interest in pursuing product management in the future.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, log analyzers, and version control systems (Git).
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work cross-functionally.
