SRE Administrator: An IT Expert in Production Support

Experience:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience as an application support administrator in a Microsoft oriented IT environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide production, operations support and application administration to business and web applications, 3rd party applications and related ecosystems.
  • Work on all types of production support activities, installations, configurations, debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, working on application design and deployment projects, change management and monitoring.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree with about five years of solid experience in administering applications in AWS/Azure cloud.
  • Excellent knowledge in administering applications, strong expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server, power shell scripts, network protocols (HTTP, FTP), SSL and debugging tools like Wireshark.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, ability to fine tune applications for performance issues.
  • Thorough understanding of monitoring systems and methodology.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
