About the Role

Our team is seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to our growing engineering organization. As a backend developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining robust server-side applications using modern technologies.

This position involves building scalable services, optimizing RESTful APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.

As a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code following best practices, implementing automated testing strategies, and monitoring application performance.

  • Design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS framework
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Design and implement database schemas, queries and optimizations in PostgreSQL
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code following best practices
  • Implement automated testing strategies including unit and integration tests
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of professional backend development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with NestJS framework
  • Solid experience working with PostgreSQL database
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha or similar)
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
