Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all aspects of the Reservations department, ensuring all service standards are followed.
- Manage and coordinate all group and individual reservations, maximizing revenue and ensuring seamless guest experiences.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales, Conference, and Accounting teams to drive revenue growth and optimize operations.
- Produce regular reports on reservations performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance revenue.
- Attend pre-convention meetings and revenue management meetings to stay informed and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for Reservation Agents, ensuring they are knowledgeable about room products and hotel services.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings to discuss performance, address concerns, and set goals.
- Ensure effective productivity of all colleagues through staff scheduling and adhering to budget guidelines.
- Balance operational, administrative, and colleague needs to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards, as well as all safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Previous leadership experience in a similar role is required.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is essential.
- A university/college degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Highly responsible and reliable individuals are required.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team is required.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
This is a full-time position, with no remote work options.
