Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Merchandising Specialist to oversee the entire merchandising process, from order inquiry to final shipment. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of garment manufacturing, production timelines, buyer communication, and product development. They will be responsible for managing buyer requirements, developing samples, and ensuring timely approvals.

Additionally, this role involves preparing and managing Time and Action (TNA) calendars for each order, following up on raw material sourcing, production schedules, and quality parameters, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of trims and fabrics.

The Merchandising Specialist will also monitor order status, production progress, and delivery timelines to avoid delays, prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers, manage buyer communications regarding order updates, changes, and queries, and conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and buyer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage buyer requirements and develop samples

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field. They will have strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with ERP/MIS systems.

A background in fabric types, trims, washes, and garment construction is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
