We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Manager to oversee the development, management, and lifecycle of our electric motor product lines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining product strategies, ensuring market competitiveness, and driving the growth of the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy and Roadmap
    • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for electric motors, aligned with company goals and market trends.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and gaps in the market.
    • Prioritize product features, improvements, and innovations based on customer feedback, technological advancements, and market demand.
  • Product Development and Lifecycle Management
    • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and design teams to define product specifications and guide the development process from concept to launch.
    • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation, development, testing, and product launch to eventual end-of-life.
    • Ensure the timely delivery of new products and updates, maintaining focus on quality, cost, and time-to-market.
  • Customer and Market Focus
    • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that customer needs and pain points are addressed in product development and enhancements.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, sales enablement tools, and training materials.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to gather feedback and enhance product offerings.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and technical support, to align on product goals and ensure seamless execution.
    • Provide product expertise to sales teams, assisting in customer presentations, technical documentation, and product demonstrations.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement
    • Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, including market share, profitability, customer satisfaction, and product quality.
    • Continuously analyze product performance in the market, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's in Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, preferably within the electric motor industry or a closely related field.
  • Strong technical understanding of electric motors, including various types such as Induction motors, Universal motors, PMDC motors, BLDC motors, PMSM motors, etc...
  • Experience in product lifecycle management, from concept to commercialization.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize market and customer data into actionable strategies.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annumPreferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain considerations in the electric motor industry.
  • Experience with international markets and knowledge of global standards and regulations for electric motors.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and market research software.
