Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to fill a key role in our software development process. In this position, you will design and develop automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify suitable test scenarios for automation.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-leading tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Identify and report defects using defect tracking systems.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure changes or updates do not introduce new issues.
  • Work closely with development team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize automated test suites.
  • Participate in test plan and test case reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in automation testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS, IT) or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • 4+ years of experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Appium.
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
